Hello! My name is Anabelle and I’m 19 years old. I’ve grown up with dogs ever since I can remember, Chester the mini poodle and Hallie the shihtzu / mini poodle mix. I learned to care for them at a young age; feeding, walking, and upon getting my license begun helping my parents out by taking them to their vet visits, etc! I still care for them time to time when needed. After high school I took a gap year and adventured across the country with my boyfriend in a van that we built into a home, and we ended up rescuing a stray dog off of the streets of Los Angeles as she was crossing a seven lane highway, who is now our little love bug named Buca and we think she is a poodle/chinese created mix. She wasn’t in the best condition so with love and some surgeries and the financial help of the Sampson’s fund here on Cape Cod, we restored her to health. She is super easy going and behaves well with other dogs. I’ve briefly worked at dog daycares being a dog handler, but sadly couldn’t continue because I live with a respiratory health condition and the environment wasn’t the best for my breathing. Caring for dogs at my own home, visiting them at their homes and walking them is a much better fit for me. I love dogs and have a lot of experience with caring for them. Now I am taking a few classes at the community college. I have a lot of spare time and would love to help out with your dog care needs! I am home pretty much full time other than my classes on Monday and Wednesday’s until noon, so overall my availability is open and flexible. Looking forward to meeting your furry friends!
