Pet care experience
I have 15 years of personal experience taking care of my Yorkshire Terrier! In high school, my friend and I started a dog walking/sitting business in our community, in which we got hundreds of clients before going to college! I have experience with all types of dogs and am comfortable with all living styles/pet care needs. I have gained two years of experience, working as a volunteer at my local animal shelter in San Diego where I did dog walking, cleaning, feeding, and provided lots of love to a variety of dogs all sizes and all ages! I am a flexible individual who has been trusted by many in the past to take care of their dog!

Anabel was so great with our 2 year old Doberman (which is not always an easy breed!). She helped watch our boy for 4 consecutive days and he quickly grew excited to see her with every passing day. Anabel sent daily updates and was great with communication. We’d recommend her to anyone! Thanks Anabel :)
Anabel was absolutely fantastic for the time Midnight was staying at her place. I know my senior pup was going on lots of walks, which I loved receiving daily updates and pictures. I would most certainly recommend Anabel to any of my neighbors/friends!

I am a very gentle and responsible person, I will be sure to familiarize myself with any new surroundings as well as be cautious and patient when introducing your pet to my home (if those services are needed). I am gentle and caring, I cared for elderly and young dogs in my past, so I have learned a lot about patience and teaching! I graduated as a biology major on a pre-med track, I have always loved nature and animals and am sure to provide the best care for your pets!

Let me know if your dog has any specific behaviors or needs that I can account for while I am providing care! I am very adaptable and I’ve worked with a wide variety of dogs, so it would be great to know in advance if your dog has any behavioral things to look out for such as anxiety or fear of other dogs/people or if there’s anything we can work on to make sure your pet has the best time with me!
A typical day
I love to be outside and there is nothing I would love more than to bring your pet along with me to all my fun walking spots and trails that are so close to my house, including the Palisades Park, and walking trails there along with Santa Monica beach and the neighborhood that surrounds me. These areas are so safe and beautiful. I love to go on daily, walks and runs and would love to bring your furry friend along with me as my running partner if they’re up for it!

Availability
I work a hybrid job, and I work at home on Wednesdays-Fridays. I love taking evening walks to the local parks and beaches, and would love a furry companion for these strolls! On the weekends, I love to spend time in nature and would love to bring your pet along to get some fresh air and good exercise!
