Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in my family, walking other people’s dogs and now have a dog of my own. I love to walk, and I love to play with dogs. I’m very comfortable with walking dogs of all sizes. I’m not intimidated by big dogs (we had a 95 pound BullMastiff). I’m good at building trust with a dog by letting them move at their pace. And I understand some dogs can be anxious or shy. I’ve taken care of my friend’s very anxious chihuahua. I know to make sure he knew I was about to reach him and to make sure I was always calm so he felt safer. I’m also happy to do drop-in for cats. Many of my friends have cats and I love to play with them, and know to be calm and let them come to me.

Ana is the one you want caring for your pet. I’ve known him for seven years and he’s taken care of two beloved cattle dogs of mine, which as you know, are not the easiest! One was an older dog and when she passed away and I got a puppy, he cared for her too - Ana is very skilled at whatever age your pup is and whatever needs they have. I always felt the absolute most relaxed and pleased when Ana would be with my creatures who are my best friends. I knew that they would be the happiest (even being a little put-out that I was there to collect them!), best cared for. Ana has the biggest heart, especially for pups. You’d be so lucky to have him care for yours!

I don’t care for pet’s in my home. But for client’s homes, I would make sure to leave my shoes by the door before entering the house. I would also make sure to wipe the dog’s paws if necessary before entering the house. I would make sure to check that their waterbowl is full, and anything else the owner asked for. For drop-ins, I like to make sure the dog or cat gets some playtime and pets.

Let me know if your dog has special needs, pulls or lunges, barks at other dogs, people, or bikes. If your dog need shorter walks or limited hills. Whatever I need to know to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy.
A typical day
We’ll go on a nice long walk, if it’s a repeat customer I like to vary the routes (unless the client doesn’t want that) so we can the pup can explore new areas. I like to play and run around with the dogs. And of course give pets and belly scratches.

My job schedule varies depending on the week, but I usually work evenings. So even days I work, I can potentially walk or do drop-ins during the day.
