I'm the quintessential dog person. I do not find it a chore to care for an animal because it brings me joy to do so. It is simply in my nature to care for pets. As a form of giving back to my community, I regularly volunteered at BARC animal shelter when I lived in New York City. In this position, my primary responsibilities included walking, minor training and grooming. My style of training is to be patient but also repetitive in order to correct destructive behaviors. This form of training works well and I can gladly provide references that can attest to effectiveness of my work. I also have a dog of my own so I know what it takes to give the best care to your pet. I've dog sat of a number of my friends and relatives. Moreover, I regularly cared for a puppy who required special medical attention so, I'm familiar with tricks for the administration of medicine. I've also crate trained several dogs so I can pick up where you left off in potty training. Overall, I'm a diligent, trustworthy, dog person who can give the best care to your furry family member.
