Had dogs since I was young. Currently own a cat and a dog. I Work as a dog trainer, working with some of the most rambunctious dogs! Also have experience with caring for dogs at a boarding facility.

The biggest rule for me is not leaving a dog unsupervised in an unsafe environment, and making sure the dog is comfortable at all times. If this means slowly desensitizing them to scary things, then that’s what we’ll do.

it’s really important for me to know what a dogs triggers are, so I can be prepared to handle reactions. Outside of reactivity, knowing the dogs favorite spot to be scratched and their favorite treat (or allergies) is also super important!
A typical day
If owners are interested, I can work on loose leash walking/ heel with a dog/ basic commands. I usually find that dogs who are working (being mentally stimulated) on walks, are more tired after. If a dog is super high energy, I also like to incorporate play into the walk, by using a squeaky toy to play tug with.

Availability
I am fully available for any need your pet may have! Just know that for afternoon walks, it gets hot. So your dog should have boots or a shady place to walk.
