I was born and reared in Mexico City, but have spent the larger part of my life in the U.S. and have lived in 7 different states as my career has moved me around. I attended college in Mexico, but finished my education in Texas with an advanced degree from UTA and an undergraduate degree from TCU. I have two grown daughters hence I now I have more time to mark off items from my bucket list, and I love to travel. I am 100% bilingual in English and Spanish and I am improving on my Portuguese. Working out, eating healthy and cultivating the mind through new learning and intellectual endeavors, are activities I engage in as a lifestyle. When not traveling either for work or on vacation, I work full time in Atlanta, GA at a privately held marketing agency. Fortunately, my job allows me the flexibility to start early/later in the day and even to work remotely. My profession is in Consumer Insights/Marketing Strategy so I do have a real sense for what motivates people to act or not act in certain ways; I never seize to be fascinated by human behavior! Why I want to house sit Up until 1 month ago I had with me the family dog, a 15-year old miniature French Poodle (the one in the picture) named Ricky, but since my house is on the market (we are selling to downsize) and my recently married daughter missed Ricky terribly, she took him with her to her new home in Dallas, TX. Since it would not be the best decision to get a new dog when I know I will be moving to a new home, I thought doing house-pet sitting would be the best way to enjoy someone else's dog until I get a new one myself. Because my house is so large, I turned the basement into a fully functional independent apartment and placed it in Airbnb for almost a year. I was very lucky as the place had a high occupancy rate and all my of guests were kind, clean and respectful. When I come to stay at your place I will take care of it (and your pets of course) as if it /they were my own. Also, whatever your pets' routine is, they will get exactly that. I exercise regularly so I stay in shape; I can take your dogs for a long walk or for a 5K run. My experience Before we had Ricky, we used to live in Texas in 2 acres of land and we had mostly large dogs (Great Danes, Dobermans, and Saint Bernard) so I am good with dogs of all sizes. I am also a cat and bird lover and when my kids were little we had cocktails, parakeets, and fish .
