Pet care experience
I am currently a senior at Duke University who adores all animals. I have grown up with dogs and have been petsitting dogs of all sizes (Chihuahua to Briard) for over 12 years. My family currently has a fluffy American Cocker Spaniel named Maxx. After coming to college, I realized just how much I miss seeing a dog everyday. With my flexible schedule, I am available most mornings, afternoons and evenings. I enjoy exercising and would love to take your pup on a nice run/hike, or I could lounge and pamper the more sedentary. I honestly have a soft spot for any kind of dog, especially the active type! I can also speak Spanish and have a car. I would love to be a pal for your pup and a help to you!

Fantastic! Ana-Clara was easygoing, conscientious and most of all took very good care of our important family members. We appreciated her detailed feedback while we were away, and the photos of our babies were a welcomed treat while we were gone. Thank you!
Ana is a fabulous sitter. She stayed in our home for a week while we were away and watched our two dogs (one of whom has anxiety). Ana gave our dogs the same love and care as we would while we were away. Will absolutely book Ana again. Highly recommend.
Would not recommend Ana-Clara. When I hire someone new, I would observe their behavior on my security cameras. Ana-Clara, in all of her visits, never says a word to my dog when she picks her up and drops her off from the walks. She did, however, chat on her phone. What then bothered me was that she starts the 30-minute walk timer when she’s in her car and completes the walk after she sits in her car for a while. She walked my dog for less than 20 minutes. Not hiring her again.
Ana and I had a meet and greet where I explained when I needed her to arrive and that my 75 lb lab thinks he weighs 5 lbs, is allowed on all of he furniture, and loves to cuddle. Ana showed up 3 1/2 hours late and then proceeded to close my dog in rhe guest room. I know all of this because I have security cameras in my house, not b/c she offered the information. Once I finally got ahold of her, she stated hat she closed him in he other room b/c he was getting on my bed and was too close to her. She walked him at 6am, and then texted me that rover would be finding me a new sitter! How do you quit after the first night on a three night stay during Memorial weekend?!? If you don’t really like dogs being close to you, you shouldn’t work as a pet sitter. I would NOT recommend Ana for anything!
