I have volunteered at the Humane Society in NE for many years, and worked primarily as a bottle-feeder for kittens. While there, I also spent a great deal of time walking and caring for dogs and other cats. I adopted my own dog, Beef, about 2 years ago, and have trained him very well. He’s a big sweet boy, who LOVES hanging out with other dogs, and does really well with both of my cats! I have trained him myself, and have also assisted others in dog training. I have taken numerous courses in dog CPR, so if the need should arise, I would be fully capable of handling it (I’ve also been a paramedic since 2016 and an EMT since 2014). I have assisted with the care and training of my neighbors’ King Charles Spaniel since I was 12 years old. I also owned 2 pet Hedgehogs in the past, which require a significant amount of care. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for many years to feed, walk, bathe, groom, house-sit, and dog-sit. I have cared for dogs both large and small, and even those with special medication and/or food needs. I also care for cats, including any feeding, medications, and/or grooming needs.
