I was raised with dogs all my life amongst other animals. I raised & exhibited Exceptional Newfoundland’s for over 20yrs, have titled both in the AKC & CKC show ring & working events earning obedience, draft, water rescue, Versatile and Championship titles. When we lived with 9 Newfoundlands we found ourselves sleeping in doggy beds or on the floor because they would take over our bed ;) I have lived with up to 9 Newfoundlands and 3 toy breeds, because I believe a companion is for life! I have owned every size a dog comes in...lol....from toy to GIANT breeds. <3 I have rescued dogs since the age of 8 and feel very blessed that my parents allowed it, because my love and bond with companions are my life! I can read canine body language as I have for all my life, so I'm very prepared to prevent situations or confrontation before they escalate. I have volunteered in giant breed rescue work for Newfoundland’s and served on the board of local clubs. I have a life time of dog expertise, training and understanding under my belt, and an open mind to understanding these wonderful companions. Myself and one of my male Newfoundland were part of the pilot program in introducing Canine Hospital Therapy visits in NY.....I could write about my canine expertise but your not here to read a book...lol I no longer breed Newfoundlands they have all crossed the bridge. I ENJOY caring for your fur baby so that you may vacation, work, attend a wedding or leave town for a weekend, week or month without any concerns. I want you to know that your baby is in one of the most loving, caring & clean dog homes on the planet. I love many animals but my services are for dogs. ;) ***No kitty boarding in my home (I do have a cat) but I'm happy to do drop-in visits for CATS, FISH & BIRDS. ***Your furry baby is on a RAW diet? Not a problem well experienced. ***Senior citizen, no problem all my dogs passed away here at home 12+ years of age. ***Puppies, no worries I have raised many litters hand and foot. ***Heartworm patient experienced (yes you can leave me your companion that is recovering or suffering from heartworm treatment or symptoms. I am experienced with caring for rescues that were positive and being treated. Your pet will receive the exercise curtailed, stricter exercise restriction as recommend by the American Heartworm Assoc. My schedule is very flexible I'm available all the time, I'll treat your companion(s) like she/he is my own and make sure to give them the special attention they require. I ensure you that your dog is safe, well fed and entertained while your away. They will become part of my family! I am an empath, compassionate & patient with dogs (companion) needs, at home & traveling both driving & flying. I’m that very attentive & cousious dog lady.! My home is a happy, peaceful, loving, safe haven for all. In other words if you have to leave the state do to a hurricane my services will be available. I have a hurricane ready with impact ready home glass/doors and all I bring in is my pool furniture. In my home your dog will receive an abundance of one on one care & love, this is why I choose to care for less than a handful of dog at one time. I am the pack leader, they don't lead me. In my home they learn in a positive loving manner. Your dog will be happy to see you but won’t be happy to leave.....Love lives here???
