Pet care experience
If you’re looking for someone who will squeal with excitement over your pet, that’s me! I grew up with both cats and dogs, but have a special affinity for cats. ❤️ As a vegetarian, I believe that all animals are intelligent, have feelings, and deserve love! For the past 13 years, I’ve cared for my adopted rescue cats, all with different personalities and energy and affection levels. Over that time, I have learned a ton about cat behavior, good cat toys, food, litter, etc. I even have recent experience caring for my senior cat (recently passed away) with multiple disabilities like diabetes, blindness, and incontinence. I am experienced with giving medicine and insulin injections, if necessary. I am an educated, professional, and reliable woman, new to the area, working full time as a software engineer, but looking to make a little extra money here while simultaneously getting some animal therapy. ☺️ I am open to caring for animals other than cats, I just don’t have as much experience there. Thank you for considering me and I’d love to take care of your babies! They will be loved and appreciated under my care!

Amy does such a great job with my kitty! She is great about sending updates, following his feeding schedule, and she even watered my plants! 10/10 recommend!
Amy is fantastic. The last morning our cats were having a really hard time. Amy stayed with them until the calmed down and became less anxious. She was very detailed and did everything she could to make sure everyone was calm before she left. Thank you Amy.
My second visit from Amy was just as good as the first, with detailed accounts of the visit and some nice photos that were very much appreciated :)

Availability
I work full time 8-5 M-F remotely, so as long as you have WiFi, I can work out of your place if need be. For that reason though, it’s easier for me to do evening visits during the week. Because my two cats are a little hesitant with other animals, I unfortunately cannot host in my place. I am only open to short overnight house-sitting requests, since I have my cats (and a boyfriend) who I would miss very much if I had to be away for more than a few days.
