Hi! 👋🏼 My name is Amy, and I've loved pups my entire life. Hanging out with your dog and taking them on walks in the park to chase squirrels is my idea of a perfect day - my work is flexible, so I am able to walk, feed, play with, and cuddle your dogs. I would love to keep them company while you are away, and rest assured I will love your pup like they are my own! 🐶 I am a friend to all dogs, large or small - my family pup when I was younger was a yellow lab, and I've cared and dogsit for a range of dogs for both short and long term.

I have a lot of love to give to your pet, and I will bring maximum enthusiasm and attention to caring for them, whether it's having a park adventure or cozying on the couch. I have no children or other pets in my 1-bedroom apartment, so my focus can be undivided. I live in an elevator building on the Upper West Side, with easy access to both Central and Riverside Parks. My house is their house, so your pups are allowed on my furniture (if you allow them), and I am able to adapt to your routines and preferences with your dog.

Please let me know in advance if your dog has any needs, quirks, or habits that should be accommodated. They must be house trained, and I will need to know if they have any special way of letting me know if they want to go out. I'm attentive to a pup's moods while out and about on walks, but it would be good to know if they have any social anxiety or things they do or do not like outside.
A typical day
I live near two amazing parks, Central Park and Riverside Park, and love to switch it up on daily walks. Whether your pup loves to snooze on the couch or chase after squirrels, I'll be sure to give them lots of love throughout the day and accommodate their heart's desire.

Availability
Since I work from home flexibly, I am able to watch your furry friend and care for them throughout the day. I am available on weekdays and weekends, per my calendar availability, and am able to take them out for walks/potty breaks as often as you'd like! I offer overnight sitting as well on a case-by-case basis. I look forward to learning their daily routines and will ensure that they feel comfortable and loved while they are with me.
