I’ve adopted the name from friends and family over the years for my natural affinity with animals and becoming the first port of call to pet-sit. I’m a caring and patient animal lover who can win over the shyest and wariest of animals. ᴇxᴘᴇʀɪᴇɴᴄᴇ I’ve over 30 years caring for cats. I’v grown up with kittens and cats from a young age and had my own as an adult. I’m a foster cat carer for a local charity, having temporarily homed and cared for cats from troubled backgrounds, of different temperaments and medical issues for over 3 years. I've also just adopted my current foster cat (foster carer fail!) Fur babies always love spending time with their Aunty Amy! ᴀᴠᴀɪʟᴀʙɪʟɪᴛʏ Depending on your kitty’s character I can stay and play or do shorter visits if they’re more independent. My priority is to ensure your cat’s comfort and happiness whilst you’re away so I always do a thorough visit and will spend longer if I can on shorter visits. **Please note I can only accommodate morning and lunchtime visits in the immediate Castlefield area. ʙᴏᴀʀᴅɪɴɢ I'm now offering boarding! If you want your cat to be cared for 24/7 in a safe space, i'd love to accomodate! I live in a comfortable one bed flat in Manchester, and work from home so i can provide love and attention on tap! I can take only one cat at a time, and your furr baby would need to be comfortable with other felines as i have my cat Baby at home - who loves companions and play dates! *Your cat would need to be neutered and up to date with flee treatments and vaccines. Please be prepared to show evidence of this. ᴀꜱꜱᴜʀᴀɴᴄᴇ I live and work locally in Castlefield. I’m fully responsible and reliable, DBS checked and insured. I know the feeling of guilt when leaving your pet behind at home - and also having someone come into your home whilst away. I treat all animals as if they’re my own babies and my main priority, ensuring they’re happy, and you feel at ease knowing your pet is well cared for, and your home safe whilst you’re away. I've cared for some very illusive cats, I have never failed yet to be greeted, receive kisses and cuddles and have cats running round playing. Much to the suprise of cat Mums and Dads having been dubbed the cat whisperer! 🐾

ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴍᴇɴᴛᴀʀʏ - No extra charge for two cats.* - Time spent to care for not just ‘pop in’. - Administer meds. - Ensure specialist diets followed. - Home security - blinds opening closing/bins emptied/light timers/monitor CCTV/ water plants. - Welcome home grocery pack - milk/bread etc on return can be arranged (fee added) - No city centre extra parking fees due to locality. Disclaimer *I don't like to charge for more than one cat during the same visit as Rover suggests, but I may need to charge extra if you have multiple (3 or more) or suggest a longer visit. This is because I do a thorough visit (at least 30 mins) to ensure that every cat has enough interaction, play & attention so they are happy whilst you are away. It will also involve more cleaning etc. *I am on foot so sometimes it can take an hour aside of the visit of my time to get to you within my service area. Sometimes i may need to turn a visit down if it is too far for me. Thankyou for understanding 🐾

A typical day
I spend time playing with the pets I visit, to give them company and stimulation whist they’re home alone, and plenty of cuddles to make them feel loved. I’ll use their toys and bring my own to keep things interesting and varied for them.

Availability
ꜱᴇʀᴠɪᴄᴇ Once we’ve confirmed availability, I’ll arrange a meet with you and your fur-baby to discuss their routine and needs. It's a chance for your kitty to get a sense of me and feel comfortable with me before you leave. I’ll accommodate any instructions you’ve given on you’re kitty’s needs and routine. I’ll clean, and tidy after them and make sure they’re fed and watered as standard and spend time with them when I visit. I’ll send updates to you on every visit. I can administer medication, and have experience giving injections.
