Lab-A-Lot Pet Sitting!

Pet care experience

Please check my calendar to view my available dates for you and your pooch! Meet n' Greet required before any new guest booking. ------------------------------------------------ When making a booking, please let me know when you'd like to drop off and pick up. *****IMPORTANT: SATURDAYS - Dropoffs/pickups after 9am only; SUNDAYS - Dropoffs/pickups after 12 pm only. (I have housemates and prefer not to wake them early on weekends and am at church on Sunday mornings.) PLEASE NO FLEXI-LEADS. If you walk your dog with a flexi-lead, please leave it at home. ----------------------------------------------- I currently have a sweet lovable Dalmatian, named Nitro. Previously, I fostered over a hundred dogs when I volunteered for 7-8 years with Lab Rescue and 1-2 years with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. Every day we take a walk, play ball in the back yard and everybody gets equal amounts of quality snuggle time. I sometimes take day trips to places where the dogs get to accompany me, so your pooch will be included in any dog-friendly activities, including visiting friends with huge yards, going on hikes or visiting wineries. We live in a 3-story TH with a small back yard. I work for myself so I am home most every day. The dogs have their own doggie door into the back yard so they can lounge around on the deck in the sun and terrify the neighborhood squirrels. Nitro is used to a revolving door of guests.

We’ve been a repeat customer with Amy for over 5 years now. She is amazing! She’s communicative, she’s caring, and treats your pet like her own. She’s helped my dog Cole (when he was a puppy) when he had a medical emergency with cherry eye. She looked up home remedies and stayed up with him massaging his eye with a warm compress to help. She makes sure your dog has ample walks and play time! If she has availability and you need a sitter I highly recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment

I treat each dog that stays with me as one of my own. They must ask permission to get up on the furniture, just like Nitro is required to do, they must behave during mealtimes (we teach this with ease), and when everyone is following the same rules, we get along just fine! Everyone gets equal amounts of love and attention, and we have a peaceful calm house too!

Information Amy W. would like to know about your pet

Are they spayed/neutered? I generally don't take in-tact dogs, because it causes a lot of different issues in groups, and there is a lot of extra marking in the house that tends to happen. Not a fan of that.

A typical day

We take a 5K walk almost every day and I have a kiddie pool I pull out during the hot days. Sometimes we go on adventures to the dog parks or out into the country. When you're dog is with me, they are treated as one of the pack!
