Home FT - Love dogs!!

Pet care experience

I will love and care for your dog as if it were my own. My experience with dogs is simply owning my own for the last 20 years. I’ve owned puppy through senior dogs. My first dog, Robbie, has since passed away at the age of 14. We currently own our sweet poodle baby Bailey...our 11 pound 7 y/o sweet boy. We also own a 1.5 year old big goof ball puppy standard poodle…who is bonkers but we love him so much. I am home FT. I am a stay at home mom to my son and daughter ages 4 and 2. I am out of the house M-F every day of the week during the school year only…to take my kids to school from 9am-12pm on Amelia Island. For doggy daycare I have two extra large crates (if needed), baby gates, toys, grooming items. Whatever you need I will make happen. Please know that I have compassion for animals, and I really love dogs. They depend on us for all of their needs and I take that seriously. “The righteous care for the needs of their animals...” Proverbs 12:10

Amy did a great job with our dog Tanner who was a little shy. She took pictures and kept us informed of his progress.

Information Amy W. would like to know about your pet

These questions are for doggy daycare/boarding only: Neutered/spayed? Dog aggression? Potty trained? Chews? Barker? Do they “mark” in the house? Do they have any triggers or anxieties of any kind I should know about (i.e. vacuums, dogs, separation anxiety etc.) I need to know these things. **for dog boarding: must know if Dog is a barker or whiner through the night. Dog must be comfortable and somewhat quiet while in a new location to do overnight stays with me. This is because I have young toddlers that need quiet for naps and sleep. Also please show proof of updated vaccines (at minimum rabies) and if they’re on heartworm/worm/flea tick preventative for the safety of my own dogs and my own family.

A typical day

At my house, I live in a gated community with a 3/4 mile loop. Your pup will go on walks with me around the circle, play with my Bailey (he is so sweet and mellow he gets along with everyone and everything) we have balls and frisbees and tug-o-war ropes, organic bones, and belly rubs. I do have a large backyard for a lot of fetch. My children will dote on your dog as well.

I do not usually take dogs into my own home anymore….drop ins or walks preferred; however, I am willing to take on doggy day care/boarding if the dog does not create any extra work for me. I only say this because I have two young toddlers that still do noon naps. I would be able to host a dog only if it’s quiet( not a barker), well mannered and behaved, gentle with children and other dogs because we have two dogs of our own. The dog needs to be house trained and not destructive. Also- I do unfortunately have allergies/asthma. We own two poodles because of it. So ideally I would like to host non shedding dogs, but again- I’m open to dialogue as long as the dog is well behaved. Please see my profile page for booking and reservations if needed. Meet and greet is a must prior so my dogs will become socialized with the host dog. Spay and neuter is a must. No dogs in heat. I own two males. I also don’t want an un neutered dog who will mark in my house. I can’t clean up anything extra right now as my hands are full just trying to clean up after my toddlers lol
