Hello! I'm Amy, I'm a grad student of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. I'm available for walks and check-ins/dog-sitting in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I've owned and cared for all ages and sizes of cats, dogs, rodents, and birds. I enjoy running, hiking, giving belly (or back!) scratches, and relaxing in the sun. My first dog, Max, an Irish Wolfhound/lab mix was a great family dog and lived a full and happy life, and he helped me become comfortable with caring for senior dogs. Kodiak, my German shep, who recently moved to Europe, is one of the smartest dogs ever. He's been through a lot of personal training and I have picked up some tricks along the way. And, my laid back and asthmatic cat, Ghostface Killah, is a stray we picked up all the way from KY, also lives with family in my hometown. I've learned how to earn his love after working super hard to get him out of his shell. My roommate has an emotional support cat, Gibbs, that is very social and good with other animals, but keeps to himself most of the time. Overall, I love engaging with creatures big and small, as well as old and young, and hope to help you out by taking care of your loved ones in the best way possible!
