Pet care experience
I've been taking care of animals all my life and couldn't imagine my life without their companionship. I love all animals and respect their boundaries. Over the past 39 years I've had 7 Basset Hounds and each one has had their own unique personality. For 20-years I volunteered for Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California as a supporter, transporter, foster, home inspector, and fur-ever home for ones that couldn't be re-homed. My experience ranges from newborn to an animal's final moments before crossing the rainbow bridge. I understand the patience and compassion needed for senior animals and animals with special needs.

What your baby enjoys and what to avoid. Does your baby like to sleep on the couch with a human sitting next to them? Do they prefer to have their water refreshed frequently? Are there certain things they do not prefer? Is there another animal in area to avoid during walks? Does your baby know verbal or clicker commands?
A typical day
Fun activities based on the owners preferences. I'm willing to walk around the neighborhood, beach, or nearby hiking trails. If your baby likes to play with a certain toy, let's bring on the fun! I do enjoy practicing commands with animals who have been trained.

My husband and I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do prefer advance notice so I can plan around my two dogs.
