WFH! Your bestie won't be alone!

Pet care experience

What's included in your stay? – Two long, phone-free walks everyday, rain or shine. – One lick mat filled with fresh, home-made dog treats each afternoon for mental stimulation and/or various enrichment games in between physical activity. – Supervised playtime in our private, fully fenced in backyard. – Access to our entire house including couches, beds, dog beds, bowls, toys, etc. – this is your dog's home away from home while you're gone. We also have large crates available (which will only be used if you request it.) – We are comfortable administering medication, if needed. – Daily photos/videos of your baby and as many check-ins as you'd like (we know leaving them for even a night can be hard!) – We'd also like to know about any commands, routines or training so we can stick to it while they're in our care. – We just ask that you bring your own food so their tummy doesn't get upset by switching brands. Our experience: My husband and I foster and volunteer for a no-kill dog rescue in Chicago and have welcomed over 50 foster pups into our home in the last four years. We’ve cared for every type of dog from puppies to seniors, bigs to littles, spunky to lazy, some recovering from surgery or other illnesses, and some with behavioral issues. We’ve loved every single one of them! About our furry family members: The love of our life is our 11 year old dog, Fiona. She’s a complete snuggle bug, super calm, and very well behaved with a super submissive demeanor. She loves having other dogs around and is really amazing at adapting and respecting other dog’s personalities and needs. She’s happy playing gently with her doggie friends or giving the more shy ones lots of space. There’s never been a dog she hasn’t gotten along with, which you’ll see in our profile pictures (she’s the one with the blue eyes.) We also have 2 very friendly kitties who aren’t phased by any of our canine guests. If you’re not sure if your pup is kitty friendly, they will have no problem helping to figure that out during our meet and greet. Thanks for visiting our profile, hope to see you and your pet soon!

Scout enjoyed another long weekend stay with Amy, Fiona and the crew! Amy provided pics and a quick update on daily basis. I always check with Amy first whenever Scout needs a place to stay.

Amy is awesome! Leon truly enjoyed his time with her and her awesome pup while we were on vacation. She made the meet and greet and pick/up drop off super easy; and provided us frequent photos and updates of Leon! We will be using Amy for all of our future dog sitting needs!

Amy was great with Paddington! He came back happy, healthy, and tired. She was flexible with drop-off/pick-up as well. We'd recommend her for pet sitting.

Scout absolutely loved her time with Amy and Fiona while I was gone for 1 week. Amy provided daily updates, which gave me peace of mind that Scout was in good hands while I was traveling. I appreciated the fact that Amy provided quality care during the busy holiday week. Scout loved playing with Fiona and friends and was exhausted after a week of playing. So much so that she was whining when we got home because she missed playing with her friends. She ate well, played well and slept well while under the care of Amy and we will definitely be using her again in the future!

A typical day

We have a pretty large yard (for Chicago standards) that's great for playtime and sunbathing. Their backyard time will ALWAYS be supervised. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly and one of our favorite activities is to go on long family walks together, whether it's on the safe streets near our house or on the 606 trail (entrance very close by!) We typically don't bring our dogs to dog parks unless otherwise requested.
