Your pet's second best friend
Pet care experience
A couple years ago, I lost both my very senior dogs, which I adopted as puppies from the shelter. As you can imagine, there's a dog-shaped space in my life. I'm not ready to adopt again, but that means your dog has a second home!

My yard is fenced and shady, and there are plenty of sidewalks for adventures around the neighborhood. If your pet needs a crate, please provide it.

Information Amy S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know your dog's feeding schedule and quantity, if they take meds, how frequently they need walks, if they have any behavioral idiosyncrasies, and what they like to do.
A typical day
Your dog will get breakfast and run around the yard, sniffing new smells and looking for squirrels. After that, I will go to work, and your dog will be crated or not, depending on your preference. If necessary, I can come home briefly at lunch time to let your dog have a break. Then I'm home at 4:15 at which point we will play in the yard and/or go for a walk around the neighborhood. Your dog can snuggle with me or my sons on the couch before bed.

Availability
Weekends are wide open for walks, pets, and snuggles. During the school year, I'm out of the house from 7:15am to 4:15pm. Your pet would need to be able to be alone for that long but then would receive plenty of love until bedtime. Summers, I’m off.
