Hi there! My name is Amy and I have had cats and dogs as pets my entire life! I currently own a beloved 11-year-old cat who I rescued named Zuri! She was born without a front right paw; however, she enthusiastically hops around the house proving that there was no need for 4 paws to begin with! I have had the pleasure of taking care of cats of all ages and personalities from kittens to caring for seniors in their 20's! I also love caring for dogs of all ages and sizes! Growing up we have had many different breeds such as a Chow Chow, Airedale terrier, Great Pyrenees and Shi Tzu's! I am also very comfortable with medication administration or other specific care needs for pets outside of feeding, ensuring hydration, play/exercise and toileting needs. I take pride in giving animals the absolute best quality of life!

With all pet care I will ensure to communicate with you on your expectations and preferred routine with your animals and agree to follow as you wish! For all pets I understand that it is important for them to have company and stimulation while their owners are away! If I were to be making house visits, I would ensure to offer a minimum of 30 minutes of play time for each visit. For dogs, daily dog walking will be a priority and an enjoyable way to be outside. With the Calgary weather we have I would be sure to maintain an appropriate temperature for animals while outside and prioritize their safety.

Availability
I am a single individual who works as a casual RN which makes my schedule extremely flexible as I can tailor it to my life however I choose! This also allows me to be available for last minute needs as well! If I am working, it will be for an 8-hour period, and I will always communicate the dates and times of such when caring for your fur babies!
