Keeping your pet happy & healthy
Pet care experience
Hi! I can’t wait to meet your fur-baby! My family and I love pets of all kind but especially pups! I’m an Air Force veteran and used to be a medic so I can take special needs into my home. We definitely have what it takes to give your loved ones the time and attention they need! I’ve been asked why my rates are so much lower than others in the area. We think it shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg to have someone watch your baby while you take a much needed vacation or have a family emergency or just need someone to watch your fur-baby! Also, we don’t do Rover for income, we do it because we love having experiences with all kinds of different pets and I get an opportunity to teach my kids how to behave around animals, how to respect their space and show them what unconditional love is. For that experience, it’s priceless! I am super keen on training. So if your dog would like to stay to relax and also learn some new tricks, I’m the girl for you. Does your dog have any issues? I can help assess them while they are with us. I have three kiddos (8,6 & 8 months old) and a 15lb mutt dog name Winston (14). Socializing won’t be an issue! Your baby will get lots of exercise outside and from running and jumping in our fenced in 1/2 acre backyard. If you value high quality of care and a reasonable price, I’m your girl and we are your family!
Reviews
Great dog boarder, kept me updated and sent daily pictures and videos. Will highly recommend for dog boarding/sitting.
Always so good to my two pups. Greatly appreciate them treating them like their own.
They are always so good to my two pups and I highly recommend them and will use them again if given the chance.
Again Amy and her family took great care of my boy Waldo. I can’t say enough about her family and how you know your fur kid is in safe hands. Thank you!!

I was a medic in the Air Force so I am very comfortable sustaining life or attending to injuries if they were to occur. Aside from that, our house is always fun! We do a lot of activities with your babies and also a lot of laying on the floor getting our cuddles in. We keep the pups pretty clean while they’re here. If they need a bath in their visit, I will text you first and ask but I have no issues doing it. We also have tons of dog toys and treats and yummy things to chew on (dog safe of course). Of course you can bring your own as well. We do like to give them digestible bones and things to chew on (made for dogs and we buy the kind that is a little expensive but dogs love it like bully sticks).

Information Amy S. would like to know about your pet
I don’t have any preference in what kinds of pets to watch. Whether they are high energy or couch potato’s, we love them all and will adjust to the lifestyle your pet is used to living! My only request and very important request is that your pet does well with kids and other pets. Pups who nip, bite or show aggression will be crated when around people or animals or I have plenty of space in my home to put them in a separate room. Ive had pups who didn’t like other dogs but we managed just fine by paying attention to their cues before any aggression happened. Also, for boarding, if you could bring your pups bed and/or favorite blanket, that helps with separation anxiety. Also, bring enough food for the number of days your baby will be with us, favorite toy, food bowl, and their crate. Also, bringing a shirt you’ve worn for the day really helps them get acclimated to a new environment much easier. And I tend to over share so you will get an update and pictures from me at a minimum, daily (more realistically like 2-4 times a day lol).
A typical day
I stick to a strict schedule which I listed above. We don’t allow pets on the furniture so we make sure we set those boundaries early on (but honestly you can see from my pictures, I’m terrible with this rule lol)! Once they’re familiar with the inside and my kids and family, I walk them into our huge backyard. Again, we have flowers and kid toys out there so I walk them around and set boundaries. Your baby will never be outside alone. I always go out with them for their safety! If your pup shows signs of anxiety (which most new dogs will spend about an hour just panting, exploring and looking for their family) after a few hours, I take them for a 30 min walk around the neighborhood and we come back in and try the whole thing again. Pups usually get comfortable the second time around. Then it’s off leash, hanging with the family until dinner and bed. Whatever sleeping arrangements you have at your house, we like to mimic at our house except sleeping on the bed. We prefer to crate your baby at night to keep them safe and secure. Typically within 10-15 minutes of waking up, your baby will be taken outside for a quick break. They’ll have breakfast (if they eat breakfast) and then we wait about 20 minutes and take them out again. They will have water throughout the day but I keep a close eye on how much water to adjust potty times. We usually will walk the pups around 11am, 2pm, 6pm and one last time before bed time and after dinner. Pups get dinner around 630-7pm. Pups are usually tired around 9pm and they’ll settle for the night. We tend to sleep on the sofa while the pups sleep in the beds in the living room. In case they need to go out in the middle of the night, we are right there.

I work from home 100% of the time and off on Mondays and Fridays. I’m a master at schedules and ensure all of my doggy visitors get walks and individual attention. We start the day around 6am with potty breaks, then breakfast, then around 8am another potty break. Throughout the day we will cuddle and get lots of pets while watching TV or just hanging out. I try to go for a walk around lunch time for about 30 mins to an hour. Lazy afternoons with naps usually. Dinner at 5pm and potty at 530. Bed time around 9pm.
