I grew up on a ranch as a child and was fortunate enough to grow up with a wide variety of animals - dogs, cats, birds, goats, horses, you name it. Since growing up and living on my own, my passion for animals has only increased. I spent a short time in vet tech school and was able to really learn and identify with more breeds than I was used to. I love taking dogs out as much as possible - hikes, walks, whatever adventure I think they'll enjoy. I'm an animal lover at heart and love watching pets of friends and getting to know all different fur babies. Before discovering Rover, I was the go-to pet sitter for friends and one day a good friend asked me: 'why aren't you on Rover?' Now caring for others babies while they're away has become a regular and loved part of my life. My little family would be thrilled to love and care for your babies while you're away - so they can have a little vacation of their own. :) I look forward to meeting your fur babies!

Amy has watched my dog Ramsey overnight many times now. She is always so loving towards him, attentive to his needs, and provides updates and photos! Ramsey loves her and is pooped after every stay with her, which shows how much of a good time he has!

Amy was terrific - she was able to take our puppy for an overnighter (ahead of a longer stay) at short notice, was very communicative and responsive, and clearly took great care of our little guy. He is very much a puppy, so we appreciate Amy's flexibility and willingness to work with him!

All the dogs get lots of outdoor time between spending time in my yard and going on walks or other adventures. When we're not doing that they have free roam of the house unless otherwise stated by their own families (like if your dog is crate trained while you are away, etc.). I feed the dogs whatever their normal schedule is and am happy to cater to your babies schedule so they can maintain their routine and comfort while staying with me.

Just would like to know their temperament and if they have any special needs that require attention. Open to all different dogs as long as they get along well with my own and others. I also like to know their schedules and if they do well on hikes/adventure days. Also if they're allowed on furniture (I love cuddling them!).
A typical day
Walks, hikes, park days, and adventure days. Whatever they enjoy! I particularly love going up to the beach and Pt Reyes and letting them run around by the water. I try to keep it fun and interesting so we can all enjoy beautiful moments and areas.

I am typically home but work irregularly helping out at other jobs. I run an event based floral business as well from my household so I am able to stay with the pups while working on that. I attend school as well, which typically means a few hours out here and there for classes. Most of my time is spent adventuring with the dogs or snuggling up at home with them. :)
