Pet care experience
I'm currently not able to have a pet of my own because of prior commitments to the Marine Corps I have this summer, so in the meantime I would love to help care for other people's dogs! I have owned dogs my entire life, love getting outdoors and playing with them but also relaxing and cuddling. I'm a college student as well, and only have classes a couple hours a day so I would have plenty of time to care for your sweet pet. I have owned breeds from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers and love them all! I currently have one dog living at my house that is my roommate's, but he loves all animals and is happy to have the company as long as the other dog is not too rambunctious.

Amy watched my dog at the time, Lucky, the second half of a vacation we took a few years ago. The first half of my vacation Lucky stayed at a boarding facility that apparently had mistreated him. When Amy picked him up, he was covered in urine and very weak. He was already very old, and I did not think that he would make it from the pictures and how she said he was acting. Despite his terrible condition, she still stayed with him. She hand fed him all night and carried him outside for bathroom breaks until he could regain his strength. I completely believe that without her help Lucky would not have lived to see the next few years he did.
Amy is awesome with dogs, she has some herself and they're the happiest and most lucky dogs I've ever met! She has helped take care of my uncle's two dogs and spent lots of time playing with them outside along with some cats. She's an awesome human being because she knows the best parts of life are the furry friends we get to share life with!

I would like to know how dogs behave around older rescue dogs. My roommate has a rescue who loves other animals, but can't move very fast and doesn't appreciate when other dogs are too intrusive or rowdy with him. I would also want to know their level of house brokenness and if they chew up anything.

I love all activities with dogs whether it is going outdoors to play or just cuddling in bed while I'm reading.
