Hi Everyone! Some of you may have noticed that I have been away for a long time. I was severely injured in a auto wreck. It has taken me a year but I have healed and learned to walk again! It has been a long journey. I will now be taking clients again on a limited basis. I am fully vaccinated against covid and will continue to wear a kn95 mask in your home, wash my hands and bring my own leash it you prefer. Hello fellow dog lovers. My name is Amy and I have always taken care of all kinds of animals. I am gentle but firm when needed and see dogs as individuals that need to be respected. I prefer regular clients so I can develop a nurturing and trusting relationship with your animal friend. I spent many years in my youth caring for and competing with horses. I have found those skills of quiet communication and touch valuable with my interactions with other animals. I have owned birds, reptiles, dogs and cats over the years. Walking and hiking are my hobby and I love having a dog buddy to accompany me. I am a retired acupuncturist for 21 years and am a skilled caregiver. When your dog stays with me it is cared for by the whole household and treated as a family member. Please know that I do not take dogs with serious aggression issues or any past history of biting people.
