Pet care experience
I’ve been partaking in pet care for the past three years now, whether it be a drop in and feed, a cheeky walk or an overnight/multiple night stay. I am passionate about animals and believe that they deserved to be loved and treated with the upmost care since they are always so loving to us. I am flexible on the animals I can care for, as I have personally raised two rescue kittens and have also done house sitting with rescue dogs and can be patient and careful in my approach to that every animal feels safe. I am experienced in giving medicine, doing cleaning, feeding and very experienced in play! I adore my time with animals and would love to help those wishing to give their fur baby a friend, whether it be for a few hours, a day, or longer!

I have a beautiful daschund called ‘Lola’ she is 7 years old. Amy has looked after Lola during holidays staying in our home also taking Lola to her home. I trust her in my home and with my baby. She available at short notice and is a fantastic help. Highly recommended. Jane
Amy has been amazing with my two dogs, Charlie and Shadow. She always makes sure to give them attention, take them for walks, and give medication when needed. She’s an amazing person - attentive, kind and caring. I have no doubt that she would excel in this role just as much as she has with everything else!
Amy has been brilliant with my dog (Penny) when she looks after her. I can always trust that Penny is in safe hands with Amy, and they always have a great time playing together! Amy is a lovely person all round, very friendly and great with animals, and has plenty of experience. I would definitely recommend her!!

I always make sure to get as much detail about the pet(s) themselves, understanding likes and dislikes and what their routine is should they have one. I also inform myself on specifics, certain toys or treats so I can bring some with me to give a sense of familiarity and positive association. My aim is to implement myself in the home without breaking routine so the environment is still safe for them. From there, we can build a good relationship and have fun!

A typical day
Depending on the pet, their age, energy levels etc I cater my care to what they need in the moment! Toys, high energy play like chase games, or simply giving affection in a relaxed space!

At home, I currently base my entire schedule around my 2 cats, making sure they are never alone for too long and always fed on time (or they get cranky)!
