Pet care experience
(I’ve been on hiatus, but am back!) I love animals and will treat them as I would want to be treated if I were one (technically, we are all animals, but you get my drift!). I also treat your home as I would want mine to be treated. Being worthy of your trust is very important to me. I love all kinds of animals, have had pets since I was a child, and have been a "mom" to three wonderful dogs during my adulthood: two Dalmatians, Wrigley and Zooey, and one Greyhound Rescue, Ike. I really miss having a dog, so I pet-sit whenever I can. Currently, I'm lucky to be a "mom" to the sweetest grey tabby cat ever, Zack, who is the opposite of a "fraidy cat" - he goes to the door to greet whoever may ring the doorbell :) He likes making new friends as much as I do! Luckily, my sister and I live together, and she and her cat love Zack almost as much as I do, so he will be in good hands when I am pet-sitting. I've been fortunate to have even more experience with cats, and have always had one since I was a child - a couple of Siamese, two orange tabbies, a tortie, and Zack. Rescuing animals is a family mission!

Amy was great with my dogs, I felt totally comfortable with her taking care of them and they seemed to be tired and happy when I got back :)
Amy was phenomenal! She stayed at our home and watched our two dogs while we went out of the country for 10 days. While we were away she sent frequent updates and made us feel completely at ease. Amy took amazing care of our dogs, even arranging a few play dates for them! When we returned, our house was spotless and our pups were completely content. I will definitely have Amy sit for us again!
Amy watched my two cats and my apartment for over a week, and she did a great job! Initially, I was worried about leaving my cats for that long, but Amy took very good care of them, and she sent me daily updates and pictures so I could see that they were doing well. When I got back home, both cats were happy and healthy, and my apartment was very clean. Amy is very sweet and a very good pet watcher. I would definitely recommend her to any pet owner.

**Required - A vet and emergency vet's information must be in your profile before I will take a job house and pet sitting for you. Being put in the position of having to figure that out during an emergency situation does not enable me to give your pet the best care! I would like to know if your pup has aggressive and protective tendencies, particularly when they are on the leash, and if so, how you usually deal with it. I also need to know if they are allowed to have treats, require medications, or have other requirements. Do they like "pupsicles"? I'm pretty good at making them!
A typical day
We can walk wherever your dog prefers, whether in your neighborhood, or a close-by park, or if I'm house sitting, we can even head out to a greenbelt, if your dog(s) likes that. I'm also happy to play fetch, tug-of-war, or just dance and sing with them - it always makes me laugh when they decide to "sing" along!
