Pet care experience
Lover of dogs of all sizes and temperments. I'm very responsible, dependable, and have lots of dog sitting and general dog care experience. I enjoy dogs with all energy levels, wether its a high energy running and hiking buddy, or a low energy cuddly couch potato friend. I grew up around family dogs, and have lots of experience walking and caring for them. I even have some basic dog training skills. I have a very flexible work schedule that can accommodate walks / drop in visits / sitting. I am on Rover to incorporate my love for dogs with a flexible schedule, while making some extra cash in the process. I will always be open for communication and to accommodate special needs and will provide a safe, happy, fun, and loving environment for your pup!

If you're anything like me, your pets are practically your children. Choosing a responsible, caring individual to nurture your fur babies while you are away is not an easy task. About three years ago, I traveled across the country for a week-long vacation, leaving my chihuahua Kevin in Amy's care. Not only did he have a wonderful time, but knowing he was completely taken care of gave me the peace of mind to fully enjoy my time as well. Her attention to detail and connection to nature and animals makes Amy the best candidate for your pet care needs. Having grown up with a variety of pets such as a cocker spaniel, slug, hamsters, and a rat, she knows first hand how to interact with your special one. I highly recommend Amy; she will most certainly be the first person I call next time I need to get away.
Amy is a great pet lover and owner. Knowing her for the past 20 years, this is the perfect job for her. She has an appreciation and love for animals as well as a full utilization of animal obedience and behavior skills when working and handling animals. I will be going on a trip to Ireland in September and she will be watching my two shiba inus. I wouldn't trust anyone else to watch them and I know when I return they will be more obedient than when I left!

A typical day
My neighborhood has sidewalks on all streets, great for dog walking. I also like to take walks in Mine Falls Park in Nashua, as long as your dog is friendly with other dogs. For longer visits, your dog could go on a nature hike in the mountains or in a local conservation. If your dog isn't very active, I am also happy to play indoors or just hang out, pet, and give them company while working on indoor projects.
