Amy is an excellent dog mom to her pup Jasper and an excellent dog sitter to my pup, Finn. Amy and her partner watched Finn many times for hour or day-long play dates and for one 3-day overnight stay. They're super responsible, taking care to get all of Finn's food and exercise needs perfectly. Plus, Jasper is a welcoming host in his own right. He's not a possessive pup, letting Finn play with all his toys and happily rough-housing with him. I highly recommend bringing your dog into Amy's care if you get the chance!
Amy is the kind of person who lights up when she sees a dog. She has proven to be such an amazing pet caregiver to her own dog and others she’s watched over the years. Amy is responsible, organized, trustworthy, and communicative. I would highly recommend Amy to care for pets on rover.
Amy and Owen are exceptional pet caregivers. Our dog Bert stayed with them for a weekend, and he didn’t want to leave. Bert is an energetic labradoodle puppy, and wrangling him and Jasper (their dog) couldn’t have been easy, but they did so without issue. Amy and Owen are active, attentive, responsible, and loving—everything you could want in a pet caregiver—and we highly recommend them!

I work from home and Owen is in grad school remotely. Our schedules are very flexible and most of our weekends are free for dog sitting. We're also available for lunchtime walks in the Lakeview East neighborhood. We’re both very active people and depending on your pups energy levels and comfort socializing, we’ll take them on long walks, runs, and to dog parks (but we’ll never let them off leash outside of a gated area). We’ll ask you about their usual routine so they’re as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

Let us know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors we can account for. Our pup Jasper has struggled with allergies in the past so we’re very comfortable administering oral medication, eye drops, and even injections. We’re also very familiar with prescription diets. We will always try to schedule a meet and greet with your pup and Jasper before boarding.
A typical day
A typical day involves multiple long walks, many short potty breaks, and at least one adventure to a dog park or dog beach! And of course, lots of pets and belly rubs.

I grew up with dogs and my partner Owen and I have had one of our own for 2+ years now. Our pup Jasper gets along well with other dogs and loves having a friend for boarding and/or walks! You can expect many updates and pictures during your stay.
