Amy was very comforting in our first time using a dog sitter. She kept us updated throughout the stay on kit’s well-being. We will definitely use Amy’s services again in the future.
Amy took wonderful care of my golden retriever Shelby for an extended stay of over two weeks in her home. Treated her like one of the family and alleviated any worries I had about being gone so long. Shelby played with their puppy Juniper constantly in addition to loving on the kiddos and the adults in turn. Will definitely use them again, great people, nice house with a fun yard. Thanks Amy and Mara!
I have known Amy as a highly successful pet sitter for over a decade. As a vet tech early in her career, Amy is now a registered nurse, and her care and passion for furry critters has remained part of her soul. I would trust her with a rambunctious puppy to a fragile geriatric animal. Amy can do it all and keeps the pet parents happy too.
Will love & protect them as our own
I'm home full time with my animal loving 7 yo son (homeschool). We have a one year old golden retriever who we treat like our 3rd child. We have a large fenced yard and go on plenty of walks. I am a registered nurse and work part time evenings - my spouse will be home the times I'm gone. Before becoming a human nurse, I was a vet tech. I've also worked in a doggie daycare ...
What Amy would like to know about your dog
Would Need to assure your pup will be happy around my dog, my 2 cats (they are independent and know how to avoid dogs if needed), and my
Sons. Also would need to know your pet "rules", commands, and medical treatment expectations. I think it is very important to keep language consistent for your fur kid while you are away.
We are a busy and noisy home in the evenings but it's quite relaxing/quiet all day as I school my son. We take lots of walk/play breaks too.
I will request a brief meet and greet prior to accepting a new dog friend into our home to assure a good match.
No breed discrimination or favorites -- but definitely enjoy goofy sporting breeds. That said...I'm totally content petting a lap dog as I read.
