I have grown-up with dogs in the family home and then when I was old enough I was able to have my own. I’ve had a Huntaway cross, Border Collie and a Romanian Shepherd. I did dog walking for neighbours and family when I was younger and have now changed jobs so that I have more flexibility with my time. I enjoy being in the company of animals and caring for them, I will try to follow any training requirements that you are using to avoid confusion when out walking. I understand that dogs have different personalities and can’t always be treated in the same way, for example, my own dogs are very different, one is carefree, ball mad and not really bothered by people or dogs and the other is very reactive to new people and can be easily spooked on walks. I would always prefer to meet a new dog with their owner, so that we can ensure the dog is happy and familiar with a new person.
