Love, Play, Make Them Feel At Home

Pet care experience

Pets are our family, and I know it isn’t easy to leave them. But, I will love them like they were mine, and enjoy sending photos to folks for updates. I would love to care for your puppies, help train and encourage them. And, if you have a special needs or elderly dog, I am experienced with managing that kind of care. I do weddings! Whether you are in the Annapolis area for your own or someone else's, bring your dog along and enjoy the local parks when you have down time. Also, I would be happy to bring the dogs to the photo shoot so they are included in the day! I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Certified. I also support is the Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue (MABCR). If you are in a pinch and can't find someone to care for your dog during the dates you need them, reach out and I will double check my schedule or help find another recommneded Rover sitter for you.

Amy took such great care of our little guy, and sent picture and video updates for us throughout the duration of his daycare! Highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.

Would highly recommend Amy. She was wonderful and our dog loved his stay with her! She went above and beyond to make sure his stay was amazing but kept us updated to make us feel comfortable as well.

Amy was great! She was incredibly helpful taking care of our puppy Groot, who needed extra help with kennel training and regulating potty breaks outside. Amy was very accommodating with our schedule, even picking Groot up in the mornings and offering to have her spend the night. I was updated frequently with pictures which made being away from my pup more comfortable. I would recommend Amy to any pet owner!

A typical day

The back yard and garden are often a nice place to initially explore and familiarize the dogs with a new situation. The level and type of play really depend on your pet’s preference. Tennis balls and regular fetch seems to be a winner for the herding dogs I have cared for in my home. The fields and mile-around track across the street make for a nice place to walk and lots of new things to sniff.
