Pet care experience
I'm a responsible, experienced sitter. You can put your mind at ease while I care for your pet as I've had a lifetime of experience caring for animals. I cared for my first cat Thomasina for 21 years. Growing up, I was entrusted by my neighbors to house sit, walk, and feed their dogs and cats while they were on business trips, vacations, and the occasional late night at work. I've cared for young animals and old animals alike, which has involved potty training to administering medicine. I rescued my second cat Bubbles, the neighborhood alley cat, and slowly acclimated him to sleeping inside. So I can care for your outdoor and/or indoor feline! I'm now the proud owner of a chill retired greyhound, Pancake. Pancake loves to run in my fenced-in yard, but he most of all loves to sleep. I taught him how to play as well as simple commands like "come" and "stay." He is great around all people and other animals. Whether your animal is social or a loner, chill or spunky--I'm used to caring for all types! Just let me know what your animal needs, and I'm happy to help! Can't wait to work with you and your pets!

Amy has taken care of my dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, turtle and fish off and on for over a decade. I leave notes with detailed instructions for all my critters and Amy is great about following them. Even when she was a teen, I could rely on Amy to wake up early to keep my dogs on schedule. As a responsible adult, Amy is now the proud owner of a rescue dog that is lucky to have her as its human. For me, the tests of a great animal sitter are my animals' reaction to the sitter when they enter my house and the smell of my house when I return from a trip. My dogs are happy to see Amy and I am happy with my house when I return. As a side note, Amy takes care of the dog across the street from me. When it's human goes on long trips, she would stay and watch movies with the dog to ease it loneliness.
Amy is delightful and my dogs love her. She has sat for them for years and is very reliable. I have used her for walking, feeding and sitting at my home. I recommend her highly

A typical day
I can take your dog on walks around your neighborhood or to Pontiff Park, City Park, or Lafreniere Park. If your dog enjoys socializing, I can take them to one of the free dog parks in Pontiff or Lafreniere. I would play fetch or tug of war and give them a good scratch on the back. Your pup will also have fun practicing simple commands like "sit" "stay" and "come." Most of all, I would pay attention to what puts your dog at ease and act accordingly.
