Hi, my name is Amy and my love for all animals began very early being raised with multiple dogs and cats. With my own dogs and cats (and even a bird at one point), I have cared for them from kitten/puppy until later in life and am familiar with medical care at all ages. Pets are a part of the family and I treat all animals with extra care, attention and extra ear scratches. I understand and am attentive to those who might be more anxious or cautious when meeting new people, places or animals and will provide them the space, patience and time they need to adjust and learn to trust me.

I am so glad we found Amy to watch our dog over the holidays! It was our first time using Rover so we were a little nervous leaving our pup with someone but she exceeded all our expectations. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates. She made sure our dog felt right at home. We will definitely use her again in the future!
Amy took fantastic care of my dog, Baxter! He felt right at home. She sent me updates and pictures/videos so I could see how much fun he was having! 10/10!
Amy is so wonderful! Her and her family do a great job making your pet feel at home while you're away. She is great with picture, video and daily updates on what your pet has been up to. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and adapt to our hectic schedule. She offered to help in any way she could. We are so happy we found someone who we can trust with our big guy! We were so lucky to find Amy at the last minute before a few weeks of on and off travel. She was so accommodating and went out of her way to make our guy feel at home. From pictures and videos to daily summaries, Amy was always in communication about what Oso was up to. She made being away from home a lot less stressful.

With a fenced yard allowing plenty of space to run around and my 3 year old dog who loves to play with others, I also have a couple kiddos who enjoy showering animals with love. During your time away from them, for a quick visit or extended period, they will be cared for and safe within a happy and adventurous space. I am equipped to handle emergent pet situations and treat animals as if they are my own when in my care. If boarding, I have a separate kennel space available if you'd prefer or cozy beds for your loved one to sleep on. Animals will be able to spend time inside and outside whenever they want and will sleep indoors at night. I would love to set up a time to meet you and your pet so you can see if I would be the right person to help care for your pet in any capacity. If you have any questions, concerns or needs, I'm an open book and love feedback and as much information as I can on what you and your pet need so I can provide the best possible care.

A typical day
I'd love to get your dog out to experience new areas and smells to help stimulate their brain. We can play games as well or relax together, whatever ensures they have a positive and happy experience. Providing cat care at your home will involve a few games and activities or providing them their space or extra pets and chats if they would prefer something calmer.

Availability
Working remotely allows me the time to ensure your pet is receiving the attention and care they need while you are away. With the flexibility in my schedule, I can be there to walk or drop in on your pet when they need it during the week, or give them extra snuggles at my home. While I have kids who are active in sports, I am able to have lots of time during week days and weekends to help care for your pet.
