We are a family that lost our two golden retrievers over the last year. The children in the home are ages 7 & 10. Both boys, have enjoyed watching friends dogs for overnight stays. We have enjoyed it so much I decided to create an ad on Rover. We have an acre and large part of this acre is fenced in. We also have tons of experience with dogs of all sizes. I remember how difficult taking time away, placing my dogs in a kennel was too difficult. These are members of our family. I am hopeful to provide a useful service. About this sitter: I am mother of two boys, ages 10 & 7 that works in education. I am a dog lover, who has been watching friends dogs overnights at my home and would like to offer my services to other dog lovers. I have always had dogs and love getting to know all different breeds, sizes and ages. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover. I grew up with dogs and have always owned a dog. In the past I have owned two dogs at once, but currently do not own any dogs. This past Spring we lost our golden retriever Wonder and it has been a tough lose. We have been watching family member and close friends dogs over their vacations. I have decided to expand by using Rover.com and enjoy all the dogs that come stay. Meet my pets I will typically watch 2-3 dogs, based on compatibility of dogs, dogs of same owner and/or switch over days there maybe up to 4 dogs on a day for a period of time based on owners dropping and picking up their dogs. However, I'm very thorough on making sure I'm comfortable with dogs I'm caring for, they are family members, I take pride in making them each individually a priority and receive attention, care, love and safety. About my yard We have a large fenced in backyard. There is pictures on the website with pictures of the backyard. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medication to dogs, as well as diabetic insulin via needle.
