Hi! My name is Amy, and I have been lucky enough to be a Rover sitter for Cincinnati's adorable pup population for going on 4 years! Never stress again about going out of town and having to leave your beloved pup behind. Your furry family member is always welcome at my house in convenient Bellevue, Kentucky. They will have plenty of room to romp and relax in my pet-centered, historic home with a good-sized, fenced backyard for convenient potty breaks and play time. If your dog is as energetic as my 2 pups, they can accompany us on jogs around the neighborhood, hikes in Mt. Airy Forest, or frequent trips to Newport Dog Park, which is only a 1 mile walk or drive from my house. If your pup is on the more relaxed side, we can create a personalized exercise schedule that suits your dog's needs. "Snuggles" is one of my dogs' favorite words, and you can rest assured that your dog will get all the loves, cuddles, and one-on-one time they need to feel as relaxed as possible while you are away. With a border collie and a young pup in the house, training is a part of our daily routine. Your pup is welcome to join in on the fun by playing fun puzzle-solving games, such as hide-and-seek, or just by learning a new trick using positive reinforcement techniques. I am also able to follow your individual training schedule or techniques to best suit your dog's needs. As one of those people that loves their dogs what some may consider "a little too much", I understand the frustration and anxiety of having to leave them to go out of town. To help eliminate some of that anxiety, I encourage setting up a Meet and Greet before your trip so that you can meet me, view the house, and meet my dogs. You also will receive no shortage of amusing photos and updates about your pup, so you can relax and enjoy your trip knowing your dog is having a great time as well. By leaving your dog with me, you can rest assured that they are being lovingly treated as a part of my family. From dog-lover to dog-lover, you can trust that my house is the second best place to home.

Amy did such a great job watching Cooper! She kept him on his schedule and sent updates with pictures. Cooper had a blast playing in the backyard with her two dogs, cash and maybe. Would defiantly recommend, and will be using again ?

Amy was great!! She was flexible on drop off/ pick up and sent great pics of Louie while he was there. He came back super tired and that’s a sure sign he had a great time!! Will use Amy again!
Amy was super reassuring and experienced. I instantly knew my pup was in good hands from the moment I met her. I am verrrry attached to my dog and vice versa and Amy was sure to send pictures and updates while I was on vacation. I could tell Marlo was right at home and got along great with her dog Maybe. Any pup is welcome as long as they are friendly (to humans and other dogs) and fairly well-behaved (everyone's a little mischievous now and then). I will ask you your dogs preferences about daily routines such as feeding, walks, exercise, play time, car rides, dog parks, and training, etc. Dogs, like humans, all have their quirks and the better I know theirs, the more comfortable they will be. I am happy to work closely with you to work out a personalized doggie care plan that resembles your dog's daily routine as closely as possible to eliminate stress on them and you.
A typical day
With a border collie and a 1 year old pup, daily exercise is a necessity. Your dog will accompany us on our daily walks, which we can tailor to your dog's size and energy level. My fully fenced backyard is perfect for puppy play sessions and a spirited game of fetch. In the warmer months, my pups love to play in the puppy sprinkler and kiddie pool to cool off. If your dog is a fan of dog parks, we love to go to Newport Dog Park on nice days, which is conveniently only 1 mile from my house. When the weather is nice, we love to go hiking in Mt. Airy Forest. No matter your pups preferences, we can come up with a daily schedule that makes them the most comfortable. At the end of the day, my pack and I spend EVERY night together snuggling on the couch for some much needed relaxation and belly rubs.
