Pet care experience
I started my career in pet care about 5 years ago when I worked as a kennel tech and worked my way up and through school. I am now a registered vet tech licensed through the state of Louisiana and an ICU nurse at a specialty vet clinic. I am fully capable and confident in my ability to take care of any special needs your pet may have. My best friend is an 8 year old French bulldog named gator.

Amy is trustworthy and caring. She will care for your pets and property as if they are her own. She is one of the only people I would allow to care for my three dogs and trust in my home. She is a vet tech so there is that extra assurance that she can handle any emergencies that might come up.

Amy has stayed with our pups multiple times, for extended trips. She is extremely reliable, communicative and flexible to our scheduling. As a vet tech she is able to administer insulin for one of our diabetic dogs. Amy stays in our home and takes great care of it and our dogs. She is an extremely trustworthy professional and our dogs seem to like her even more than they like us! Highly recommend!!!

I typically follow my same routine at your house as I would at mine. I leave for work around 1pm, and return immediately after work between 11pm and 12am. In the mornings when I wake up we do morning routine (walk, breakfast, any meds) then have snuggle and playtime! We'll walk at least one more time before work and then night time routine (walk, dinner, any meds) when I return. Off days are all day play and snuggles!

I can handle just about any special needs situation. As long as I have instructions on routine and meds, we're good to go! I have experience in administering all types of medications.
A typical day
Weather permitting (in the summer heat I try to keep outside time to potty breaks only) I love to walk on the Greenway or spend time in parks! With senior pets, or those with mobility issues I like to just get some time sitting outside to get some fresh air. With puppies we will have plenty of indoor play time (if vaccine schedule is not completed) where we will play fetch/tug of war and work on some basic commands!

Availability
I currently work full time, 4 days a week (tuesday, thursday, friday and saturday) from 2pm-12am. I typically get out of work between 10:30 and 11pm.
