Every animal deserves the best care

Pet care experience

I have taken care of animals my entire life. Growing up we always had dogs and cats which I continued into my adulthood. I have a love and comfortability with animals that makes working with them a treat! I have raised many from puppies/kittens to old age and even cared for a few since birth when their mother was unable to do so. More recently I began working with other people’s pets which has given me insight and experience of caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I am certified in pet CPR and First Aide and I am very patient and understand that every animal is different and my goal will always be to win them over so anytime I am with them, they are as excited to see me as I am them. Not matter how long that takes! I also hope to make the pet parents feel as comfortable as possible and follow their routine for their pets as closely as possible.

Amy was fantastic! So personable and engaging with the doggos and very responsive to my questions and concerns. I will definitely be using her again.

Amy has been a key part in my pet's lives as I travel for work. She cares for them as if they were her own and my dogs love her all the same. She is always reliable and has been so flexible with my ever changing schedule. Amy goes above and beyond each time by helping me keep up with trash days while I am gone, collecting my mail and watering plants. My dogs recognize when I tell them Amy is coming and will sit at the window watching for her. I can tell she truly does this because of her love for animals, she doesn't just come and let them outside and feed them. She comes and plays with them, showers them with love and attention all while keeping me updated along the way. I would recommend her time and time again.

Amy is certified in animal CPR and giving meds. She has done pet sitting for several people and always gets great reviews. She’s always loved all animals since she was a small child.

My main goal is to provide the best care for your pet while I am with them, right after that my goal is to make you both feel as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. I understand giving someone access to your home and loved one can be nerve wracking but I treat every home with the utmost respect. I am there to care for the pet and spend my time and attention ONLY on them and the things needed to provide that care.

Information Amy J. would like to know about your pet

Any special information about your pet ahead of time is great! That being said, I ALWAYS hope to do a meet and greet before a first sit where I am able to ask questions and get a good run down of the pet/pets needs and routine. Of course feel free to ask any questions you may have initially!

A typical day

I love spending my visits doing exactly what the pet wants to be doing, if that means handling the necessary tasks, (feeding or medication) and then either a potty break and cuddling on the couch for awhile giving lots of pets and loving or a nice long walk and running/playing in the backyard. I strive to give the pet/pets the most positive interaction each visit!
