As a pet parent myself to a 7-year-old rescue named Peter, I know that having a responsible and responsive pet sitter provides a LOT of peace of mind on your travels and would love to be able to provide you with that while you are away. I am happy to send texts and picture updates of how your companion is during your trip. I also know that sometimes pets can get a little depressed while their owners are gone (my dog tends not to eat when I am not around) so I am happy to cook up their favorite treat to cheer them up (in Peter's case that is scrambled eggs or cheese on everything!). I am currently taking a break from full-time work but have previous experience working in higher education, learning and development, and event planning. I love going on walks and exploring new neighborhoods so pet sitting is just up my alley!
