Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner my entire life and recently lost our Aussie, Monty of 12 years. I am responsible and have 2 grown sons who love dogs too! I am off for the summer. I miss caring for dogs and would treat your pet with tender loving care. I live by many great walking trails and my home has an open layout for doggie guests. We also have a great park by our house that is dog friendly for throwing frisbees or a ball. My schedule is very flexible and friends and family know me as very energetic and trustworthy. I am very strong and can handle dogs of all sizes. I also appreciate customers who tell me what their dogs love to do.

Amy was a fantastic sitter over the holidays and our dog seemed very loved. He even seemed a bit slow to leave her place! 🤣 We highly recommend Amy for any animal care you need!
Amy was very kind to watch our dog last minute when our holiday plans changed. We did a meet and greet so our dog could meet her and we could see where he would be staying before dropping him off for the weekend. She provided an update and picture and our dog was well taken care of!
Amy was warm, welcoming and took great care of my pup. She was flexible to take a last minute request, sent pictures and updates, and took Baby for big long walks

I have a forested backyard that digs like to roam but if needing a leash for safety will absolutely do. I am aware of making sure surroundings are safe and anything harmful tucked away in cabinets (ie household cleaners or small bits).

A typical day
I love to give attention to your dog by praising them, working on commands you are teaching them and reinforce your dog for positive behavior. Exercise is critical for dogs’ health. We do lots of that at my house and at the park nearby.

I am currently off for the summer. During the school year I am available to come home at lunch and let dog out fir potty break and a quick walk. I am very active and like to hike/walk/jog on weekends - especially with a pet companion.
