I've been around my family's dogs since I could crawl, and I have been actively engaged in caring for them since I was 13 years old. I come from a family that has always had many pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, rats, fish and birds. I did my work experience required for school at a boarding kennel, happy to hose down and mop out kennels daily as long as I got to walk a dog. I currently don't have any pets as I live in a rented flat that doesn't allow them, so I'm hoping to my fix of puppy love by walking other people's dogs for them! My sister drops her very friendly pug puppy off at my house once a week so he gets the walking time he needs as a puppy, while allowing her to work full time. I'm also a fundraising volunteer with Cats Protection St Albans, so if you asked me if I'm a dog or a cat person, I wouldn't be able to decide!
