I've grown up with dogs, cats and birds all of my life. I've always treated them as part of my family, even if they weren't mine. I was a volunteer at Tri State Bird Rescue in Delaware, Greyhound Rescue in New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia Search and Rescue. I am happy to give oral medications and eye medications. If you have a pet that needs more experienced medical needs, I am willing to learn. I have experience with bottle-fed kittens, guinea pigs, chickens and senior animals. I have a fenced in yard and I'm in a development that has sidewalks. However, as of this time, I'm unable to board pets. I have had (5) Covid vaccines in March 2021 and 2022. If you are concerned, please let me know and I'll wear a mask during the Meet and Greet.

Amy takes such great care of our senior kitty, Tori. Amy plays with her, spends time giving her pets and always makes sure she gets groomies. We’re so appreciative to have Amy help us with Tori and can always rely on her with our little fur shark 🦈 🐈🩷
Amy was AMAZING. My partner and I never hired a cat sitter before but we wanted to travel and finally decided to hire someone. Our one cat, kiwi, needs medicine via syringe in mouth and even though Amy wasn’t super used to it, she tried it and got the hang of it on the first try! Kiwi also really tends to hate most people but she LOVED Amy, let her pet her right away, which was such a big relief and says so much about how lovable Amy is! I really appreciated all the adorable check-in pictures as well and Amy’s easy going nature when it comes to texting. I’ll always be hiring Amy from now on!!!

I do not let the dogs outside by themselves. I like to know where they are to ensure they don't jump over the fence/dig under the fence/get stolen. You let me know what your pets schedule is...if they get up at 5am for breakfast, let me know. If they play ball for an hour at 6pm, let me know. Keeping your pets on a schedule lessens anxiety.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs, injuries or fears. For example: My dog does not like other dogs, so I know to keep his attention on me when passing other dogs. Also, he has a dry eye condition, that requires daily eye medication. He is older and does not do well in the heat. He prefers to stay inside the air conditioning and wrestle on the floor or snuggle. He also has a mobility issues and can't get up many steps.
A typical day
If you have a fenced in (or electronic fence), all sorts of catch, running and wrestling will happen. In your area/development, I will locate a park and play with the pup there. I can play ball/Frisbee with a 50' lead. I prefer to keep the animals on a leash. If you're close to Evansburg State Park, hiking and swimming in the creek would be warranted.

I currently do petsitting full-time. If I am housesitting your dog, I will make every attempt to ensure your dog is let out every 4 hours. I am unable to do "constant care" at this time.
