Hello! I am a recent graduate of physical therapy school who has loved dogs my whole life. Currently living at my parents prevents me from having a dog of my own, so my love for these animals will extend to your pet. I have spent days in college both walking and boarding friend's dogs and loving every minute of it. I have boarded a friends dog for over a week in my place. I have almost met people through the rover app and have watched their dogs while they were away. During that time, we spent time playing in my backyard and walking as well as going to parks around the city. I also spent time doing drop in visits with another friends dog. This included me taking the pup for a walk and making sure he was fed while playing with him for a little bit. I am willing to do house sitting, drop in visits and dog walking. My hours are fairly open currently, as I am studying for my boards exam and am not currently working. If I were to have your dog for a weekend, expect activities like being outside and going on nice walks. I am very excited to get to meet both you and your best friend!

I’ve had Amy watch my dog on multiple occasions and would never consider anybody else. She’s awesome!! She truly cares for and loves all of the pets she gets to take care of!! She treats every one like her own and my dog is always happy to see her whenever I need help. She really is the best!

Amy would be a wonderful dog sitter. I have had the opportunity to be with Amy on multiple occasions when she has been around various dogs. Amy has an obvious compassion and strong connection with dogs. It is so obvious that she lights up every time she is around one and is able to show the utmost love with animals. Amy is always eager to jump at an opportunity to stop and engage with a dog and take the time to play with them along with petting them. Amy has had experience with caregiving for animals in the past as well. Outside of only animals, Amy is a wonder person who I would be lucky to recommend for any position. Amy is a professional student who works extremity hard at every task she is handed. She is very responsible, hard working, and reliable. Amy is wonderful at time management and ensures that she prioritizes her tasks. Overall, Amy is a wonderful person who is so caring and would do anything possible to try and help those around her. Before dog sitting, I would like to get to know the dog and his or her temperament. As mentioned before, I love to take dogs outside for walks in the arboretum and to various places that may allow for them. Because of this, I want to know if your dog has any problems around other dogs or children. Because I am renting my house and I live with two other people, I only sit small and medium sized dogs but I have no breed preferences. As for house sitting, drop in visits, and walking I do not exclude any dog!
A typical day
On walks, we will go to the arboretum, around the block, or walk to get a cup of coffee (and maybe a pupaccino, if mom or dad allows). I have a large, fenced-in back yard so fetch or playing with a ball is another favorite activity of mine. From past experiences, I know places that are dog-friendly and I, if I am comfortable with it, I will take them there!
