Pet care experience
Howdy! As a (former) part-time horse sanctuary stablehand and full-time pet owner, I've got the whole keeping-animals-in-tip-top-shape thing down. I was born on a farm with dogs, cats, sheep, bunnies, birds, hamsters, chickens, horses, hermit crabs, and fish. I am a WFH journalist on weekdays, leaving flexibility to care for all the animals listed above, including ones with insulin, medication, or special care needs. I'll ensure you come home to your happiest pet yet. :)

Amy was amazing! We never used Rover before but it was 100% worth it! Our dogs are high maintenance and she tackled every challenge. You can tell she has love and passion for animals. We got pictures and videos sent everyday. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Amy was fantastic with our pair of dogs. She shared timely and detailed updates with us, including lots of great pictures. It seemed like by the end of her stay both of our pups had really bonded with her. Will absolutely look to use Amy again in the future!

In past drop-in sittings, I check in 2-4x per day, ensure the pet exercises, goes outside if applicable, socializes, and has sufficient food, water, toys and medical needs met. I am more than happy to accommodate special requests for how you would like your pet to be treated.

I'll need to know any special care needs, including outstanding temperament, medication, injuries, or even their favorite toy or treat. I have no trouble with high-energy, hospice, untrained, or other sometimes difficult pets.
A typical day
I cater to the pet's needs. An active cat trying to catch every light or shadow in sight? I'm on it. An older dog who just wants a belly scratch and their favorite chew toy? You got it, pup.

Availability
I'm available for sitting 24/7/365. I work a very flexible job and will make your pet my priority during the hire. I'm awake by 6 a.m. and typically call it a night around 11 p.m., though can accommodate nighttime care.
