We have had dachshunds for years but sadly our dog has passed a few months back. We want to love a dog but not be a full time dog owner so we are looking for an outlet to love a dog. My husband and I have raised four kids and have one young, loving, gentle girl at home. We want to share our love for animals with her. We are mature, experienced nurturers. We will love your dog and focus on comfort and safety. We have a big yard with lots of trees and plants to take the dog outside. We have a roomy house for the dog to visit. I do not work outside the home so I can give your dog plenty of attention.
