Enthusiastic, engaged, and dedicated animal care giver. Personal and professional experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. This includes but is not limited to dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, and even horses! Has owned and cared for animals for over 14 years. Currently help provide care for two senior dogs, two tanks of fish, a rescue/former stray cat, and a herd of three horses. Have owned cats for over 16 years and have been a dog owner for the past 10 years. Experience caring for minor injuries or first aid emergencies. Can administer any medications and follow special dietary or exercise plans. Willing to drive longer distances as I have a reliable personal vehicle. Organized and neat person who will leave your home and pets tidy! Current college senior graduating in December with a bachelors in social work and a minor in psychology. Local to both Howard County and Baltimore, but not restricted to those areas. I will show your animals the care, attention, and love they deserve, and will treat them as if they were my own! I enjoy providing care for cats/kittens as well as canines, and am comfortable handling larger and/or senior animals. I am happy to work with all types and breeds of dogs and cats, I do not have breed restrictions!

Amy did an amazing job house sitting and caring for my dog and four cats. Two of the cats are on twice daily medication and Amy did an awesome job administering medicine to both of them. She was friendly, great with communication and updates, and left my house in wonderful condition. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again for my special needs pets!
Amy stayed in our home for 3 days and watched our 14 year old Bichon Frise, Sugar. Sugar did great, and kept eating. Amy left the house in perfect shape, as though she had not even been here. Thanks Amy.

I have no breed preferences and am willing to work with dogs of any breed or size. I’m a strong and tall young lady who can handle energetic, athletic, and muscular dogs. I’m also gentile and will care for your small dog or young puppy with the concern and devotion they deserve. More than happy to work with large breeds such as Pit bulls, Rottweilers, Bull dogs, Dobermanns, or Great Danes. Also love to work with middle to small size dogs like Jack Russels/Terriers, Beagles or Basset Hounds, Chihuahuas, or Corgis. I would like to know what size your animal is, if they have any dietary or food restrictions, any medications or major health concerns, and their preferred walking route.
A typical day
Long walks, play time with toys, belly rubs or ear scratches, grooming or brushing (if requested can provide other grooming such as bathing or teeth and ear cleaning), positive affirmations and rewards, specialized feeding or diet plans as instructed by owner, treats as provided by owner, and basic training for young animals (sit, stay, paw, come, lie down).
