Hi, I’m Amy. Thanks for visiting my profile! I have two dogs of my own: a nine-year-old Yorkie and a three-year-old Boxer. My dogs are my fur-babies, and I will treat your dog(s) like family too while you’re away! I have several years of pet care experience and love the opportunity to meet new doggos in the neighborhood. Unless you request otherwise, I will send picture updates of your dog(s) during stays for your peace of mind, and I am happy to take on a job with other pets too; I have cared for cats, fish, chickens, and sugar gliders. Of course, I’m also happy to take care of the little things (checking mail, watering plants, etc.) that may be missing from your routine while you’re away from home. When I’m not dog sitting, you can find me reading or volunteering for the 9/11-memorial Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In the past, I have also volunteered with the Puppy Jake Foundation, which raises service dogs for veterans. Through this experience, I learned a lot about training and handling dogs. I would love to put this knowledge to use and work with a puppy to further his or her training abilities while you're away.
