Pet care experience
I've cared for animals since I was 5 years old. I've owned 2 indoor cats, 1 barn cat, and two dogs. I also have experience with mice, hamsters, and gerbils. I have experience giving medicine orally and have raised a puppy. I've walked, bathed, brushed, and groomed multiple dog breeds including high-energy dogs of all sizes. I am patient, loving, and will do what is needed to care for anyone's beloved pet.

Amy did an amazing job with my babies. My (3) kitties can be more of a handful than the (2) dogs. My biggest anxiety has been leaving the kitties with someone because Kahili likes to try to escape the house. Mahina has come close and Alani would try as well if she had a chance. She prevented them from trying to escape the house and figured out how to get them their wet food while they crowded her. My puppies seem to settle down with her and even cuddled with her. They're 50 pound lap dogs and she did great with them. She was great at keeping me updated with pictures as well. I felt a great sense of relief to find my kitties and puppies happy at home when we got back. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone!
Amy is wonderful. She came by for a meet & greet before our booking & our pup just loved her. We have an elderly dog that does not travel well. He was so comfortable with Amy he even slept with her. She stayed in constant contact with us during our trip & sent a ton of photos. She even did a few extra things around the house. We highly recommend Amy & will certainly request her for our next vacation.

We do not have a fence which leaves me unable to offer in-home care. However, this has allowed me to become skilled with animals that need to be leashed, and am good with following safety protocols and requests. I was raised to leave a place I'm visiting just as clean or cleaner than when I arrived, so I will do my due diligence to make sure any house I visiting is left in good shape!

A typical day
Each pet is different but Pups will get walks, fetch, brushing, and other fun things dependent on the owner's desires. For kitties, I would bring a laser, or a physical toy if not provided. I can also brush cats and just sit and stare at them while they stare back.

Availability
Pet care is a daily endeavor. My dog and cat are fed and watered twice daily, and my cat's box is cleaned daily. Since my cat is missing her bottom row of teeth, she must have wet food available. My dog receives a bath and they both receive nail trims once a month which I perform myself. My dog prefers to play fetch rather than walk, and my cat enjoys playing with lasers at least once a day. I would set aside time to make sure any client's pet is cared for with the same care as my own babies.
