Hello! I’m Amy. I’m a pastry chef and social worker. I’m also a Sculpture graduate. My work schedule is very set Monday-Wednesday all day and Thursday Friday mornings, so I’m free Thursday/Friday afternoon evening and Saturday -Sunday every week! I’ve been around dogs since I was born and am used to larger breeds although I love smaller dogs all the same. I dog-sit my friends dogs on many occasions and take my parents dog, Bodie, when they need a hand. I would love a dog of my own but I’m not quite at that stage yet as my work isn’t dog friendly and I wouldn’t want to be away from my dog for 3 days a week. I’m patient and kind with animals and am able to connect with dogs pretty quickly. My flat is quite large and has a big, closed back garden and my own private front garden area, with many parks in the area. I have no other pets and no flatmates! The neighbourhood is peaceful and green. My space is clutter free and has plenty of ventilation so your dog won’t be stuffy and bothered after a walk! I can’t wait to hear from you and meet you and your dog! If you want to know anything else ask away and I’ll get back as soon as I can!

Amy loves dogs. She is kind and loving towards her own golden retriever but never passes a dog without saying hello. She also ensures that he is well looked after and enjoys taking him for walks. She is very reliable and trustworthy.

I also have some experience looking after dogs with poor sight. Let me know if your dog has additional needs and I’ll see if I have the right experience to give him or her the best care.
A typical day
There are tons of parks near my flat! I love to go on longer walks and up hills (if this is something your dog likes!) I spend time in other areas of Glasgow too so your dog won’t get bored of the same street. I’m also a keen wild swimmer so if your dog likes splashing then the more the merrier!

Availability
I’m working Monday-Friday currently, Thursday and Friday afternoons are free and so is the weekend so I’m able to look after your dog then! I have loads of outdoor hobbies that fit around the needs of dogs and I also love chilling at home if your pup prefers a more relaxed routine.
