The best TLC for your furbabies
Pet care experience
I strive to give your pets the exact same care that you give them everyday, treating them like they’re my own. I am a lifelong pet owner and current proud cat mom to two funny, gentle, friendly tabbies. I understand firsthand the concern and stress that pet parents are under while they have to be away. I know the most important attributes in a pet sitter are: a genuine bond with your animals, reliability, and good communication. Peace of mind is the essential benefit of having a responsible sitter and walker that you can trust. I’ve owned cats and dogs of all ages, with experience raising kittens / puppies, all the way to administering medication to senior pets. As far as cats go, there is no cat that I don’t get along with. Even shy or timid cats warm up to me quickly once trust is built. For dogs, I love to exercise and would enjoy taking your pup for long walks or even runs. If you have additional pets besides cats or dogs (such as reptiles, birds, etc), I am confident in my ability to care for them as well. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
Reviews
Amy once again took amazing care of my baby! She’s THE best! Thank you so so much Amy!
Amy did a fantastic job looking after our cats. She is very professional, reliable, and responsive and we won't hesitate to reach out to her again for future pet sitting needs!
This was my first time using Rover and I am SO lucky to have found Amy! She was so good with my senior kitty who often doesn’t like strangers lol. It was the Christmas holiday too and she was on time and made sure my baby was eating/drinking while I was gone. Will 10000% be booking with Amy again the next time I need a sitter.
Thanks for taking such great care of our furry family, Amy!!

I ensure a calm atmosphere for your pets, as I have experience dealing with high-anxiety animals. I’m also sensitive to pets with allergies or special needs.
Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet
My favorite part of this job is getting to meet new friends; human, feline, and canine alike! I’m easy-going and get along well with most people and animals, even those with more “difficult” temperaments. I’d love to learn about your pet’s personality, as I’m always optimistic that we could be a good fit. As a smaller person, my preferences for dog walking are dogs under 40 pounds; but many larger dogs tend to be very gentle, so depending on your dog’s individual temperament, I could still feel comfortable walking a larger dog.
A typical day
Long or short walks / runs around the neighborhood, or enjoying some playtime in the backyard. Fetch and tug-of-war enthusiast. Happy to bring your pup to local dog parks for a change of scenery if desired!

Hello! I’m Amy, animal lover through and through. I recently graduated from TJU with my master’s in Psychotherapy. Rover was my saving grace in grad school, allowing me to work while attending to my studies and internship. I now work full-time doing crisis intervention for youth and families in the state of NJ. I am still able to take some pet sitting requests on a limited basis! I would love to help you and your fur family, and will provide prompt communication to address your pet sitting needs.
