Doting dog mum and experienced pet care provider

Pet care experience

Have grown up around cats, dogs and horses and looked after a whole variety of animals for most of my life. For the last 15 years I've done on and off dog walking, boarding and sitting. I have a degree in Equine and Animal Science and am completely understanding of the quirky needs and routines of animals of all shapes and sizes! Doggy happiness and owner trust is paramount I'm studying full-time, distance learning with no other work commitments. I have my own dog whom my life is very much planned around, and would approach walking/sitting/boarding in much the same way I have a large basement flat with a small fenced off faux-turfed patio area. Accessible from some gated stairs is a large shaded garden with lots of interesting smells. Dogs are never left unattended when in the garden. In your home I would look to maintain the same routine you currently have in place with your pet.

Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet

If you are interested in booking me to walk, visit, for day care, sit or board your dog, please get in touch with some details about your pet and your availability for a meet and greet - I'm happy to travel to your dogs favourite park! Some things I'd like to know about your pet(s): Questions for all bookings - How is your dog with other dogs and humans? Are you happy for your dog to be accompanied by other dogs on walks or would prefer them to have 1:1 time with me? Is your dog prone to biting other dogs, or humans? Is your dog comfortable travelling in a car? We don't always go on field trips but as I have a car this is an option if you would like! (Please note dogs will be appropriately strapped in when riding in the car, but this will require a dog harness provided by you) How is your dog on- and off-lead? Is there any particular training you want me to keep on top of with your dog? What are your vets details? For day care - Would you like me to collect and return your dog, or will you be dropping them off? If you would like me to collect and return your dog by car then an extra surcharge will be added to bookings dependent on distance Sitting and boarding bookings - My preference is to sit your dog(s) and cat(s) in your home, they feel most comfortable at home and I can easily adapt to their routine! Please note for sittings more than 5 miles from my home (SE3, London) and lasting 7+ days I may ask to bring my dog (her details are on my profile), so please consider this when enquiring. Is your dog allowed on furniture in the home? Is your dog house-trained? Does your dog chew furniture? Does your dog require medication, at what time does this need to be administered? Please let me know your dogs feeding and walking schedule and I will do my best to stick to this! Please mention any additional requirements in your enquiry. Prices are subject to change depending on availability, and your dog's needs

A typical day

Every dog has their day! We have lots of fantastic walkies in South East, and I live very near Greenwich Park so: walkies, smells and chasing balls. Equally, if you have a pet requiring a slower pace of life we have two very comfy sofas and seven different dog beds to take their pick from!
