Can I pet your fur babies?!

Pet care experience

2023 ⭐️ UPDATE: Hello Everyone, until further notice I am unfortunately unavailable for pet sitting. To my dismay, my health issues have enabled me to properly give your furbabies the attention they deserve. I want to say thank you to my loyal clients, for being so kind and allowing me to look after your beautiful homes and take care of your precious animals. I have so much love for them all and there aren’t words to explain how much I have missed them this past year. For those that have had their pets who have crossed over the rainbow, I am forever grateful I got to know them and play a small part in their lives. It was such a therapeutic and happy feeling to come over to see them, leave a long journal of our time together for your return. 🌈 Sadie 🌈 Baxter 🌈 Basil 🌈 Bella Farewell to my beautiful Layla, my first client. My precious cuddle bug( don’t tell your parents I let you sleep on the bed most nights)(or when your legs got too weak, id bring in the ottoman into the bedroom so you could still climb into the bed).I’ll miss you sitting like a human in chairs and making me laugh. Murray-Miss Murr. How easy you were. How soft your paws were. Can’t forget that time I thought I lost you in the garage, and as I started to panic, you emerged from the Tetris tower of furniture and pillows just long enough to look at me as if to say,” I’m right here girl, calm down, I’ll be ready in about 20 for my tuna.” Koda-.You big sweet forever-shedding welcoming giant. I’ll never forget when the thermostat broke and we all sat in front of a fan, as I adorned your fur bodies with wet tshirts on you to stay cool. That was our bonding moment for sure. 🦄 Sadie girl- my first Great Dane! You statuesque, nervous nelly. Thank you for trusting me enough to pet your ear. I’ll never forget every moment I tried to earn your trust with treats, putting some of my clothes on your bed so you would accept me, strategically tricking your pathways to get you to go potty outside, hiding so you felt comfortable coming back inside and your booming protective bark. You will forever be my “great white buffalo”. Basil&Bella- my little man, my darling girl. Your small stature could never compare to your big love you gave me. Your adorable, “ tiiimmmberrr!” falls into my lap, trust falling even if my hands were full. So obedient and well behaved…except for bedtime. I cherish the moments I realized,”oh, you’re literally not gonna stay in your kennel at night, you’re just gonna try to jump up in the bed and fail bc you’re so tiny. Trying to make a homemade bed steps so you could climb up to sleep on your parents bed. My dust bunnies, words can’t explain how much you meant to me. To the parentals: Again, thank you for entrusting me to look after part of your family. Hopefully, if I can work through my physical chronic pains, I’d love the chance to take back my position of your pet sitter. And thank you Rover, for introducing me to these lovely beings. Even though you took 30% of my earnings. I hope everyone stays cool this summer and give your animals a hug for me if you can. 💕 TYTY, Amy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It’s 2021 and I bet you’re in need of a trip. My name is Amy and I would love to pet sit/house sit for you! In my experience, when I go out of town and have to leave my fur child(cat) at home, I wanna know everything that happened lol. So when I’ve house/pet sat, I like to leave a detailed daily blog/checklist. At the end of the day I’ll write if your cat decided to finally come out from under the bed, or on our walk your dog rolled in poo so I gave him a bath and that’s why I did a load of laundry. I’ve taken care of multiple cats at one time; one with diabetes, so I would give him his insulin shots 3x day, a sweet cuddly cat who would lay on my shoulders while I walked around, a stalker cat, she wanted to see what was going on but didn’t want to participate, a sweet old lady cat, who needed help off and on the sofa, every 20 minutes... I love dogs. I hope to be able to pet sit a Great Dane one day. I’ve had more experience with older dogs, however I love and accommodate to all pups. I’ve taken care of plenty of accidents as well. One family had a sweet old boy doodle mix, who had a bladder problem. He refused to ‘go’ outside so he would ‘go’ in a room that they covered with plastic. My job was to allow him to do so and clean up messes, roll up the plastic and place a new one down for the next day. I’ve taken care of ‘teenage’ dog, who went on 3 walks a day and yet he still had energy.! I’ve primarily house/pet sat during holidays for long periods at a time i.e weeks, months. I’m there to keep Your mind at ease while you’re away by making sure your home looks “lived in”; taking out trash, collecting mail and newspaper, lights on at night, tv left on if I run errands etc. I’ll make sure your fur babies are loved, taken care of and kept on regular routine.

Exceptional service. Our dogs were well taken care of and the house was clean when we got home. All the plants were alive and well in the 100 degree heat. We are so thankful to have found Amy. Thanks you Amy!!!!!!

Amy was very responsive and reliable throughout her stay. It is quite the woman who can manage two 100+ pound dogs with tons of energy. Would definitely use her again.

Amy was great with our fur baby’s. When we text her to see how the dogs are doing, Amy gave great details on how the dogs did and are doing. I would definitely call Amy again for our next trip! Thanks Amy!!!

Availability

I’ve recently sustained an arm injury that enables me from working in the culinary service industry, so I have plenty of time to pet/house sit. This means that I will be available to stay with your furpet 24/7, tend to all their needs and wants, cuddles, scratches, love or their own space. I keep an eye on all your flowers, especially during this hot summer, pick up mail/newspaper, clean etc. Injury only prevents me from working with jumpy, excited dogs, or the ones who like to wrestle or rough play during walks. We can play fetch though!
